I appreciate you guys and I know you're hard at work. I couldn't resist updating to Rum/current release and knew I might run into something as a result. Everything else seems to have applied correctly!

you trying to install apparmor? as apprmor is not shipping in the images atm
I suggest maybe a
sudo rakuos reset-overlay --confirm
to reset your rpmdb to a base line then reinstall your packages as think you have some old cruf sticking around

I'll try this, thank you Tohur. I wasn't trying to install AppArmor, I only upgraded from the previous image.
I seem to be stuck in standalone mode somehow. I've tried going from v4-->v2, and back to v4. I have tried updating things from the GUI instead of the terminal, and nothing seems to stick. I don't have time tonight to do it, but I might just try a clean installation of Raku and see what happens. I've been close to a year on Raku/Origami at this point.

Might be best bet as I have found some people may had been running some dnf commands that were destructive to the overlay setup as was confirmed a couple times on staging, will be making an announcement about this soon

I can't recall exactly what dnf commands I ran after upgrading, but I can confirm that a clean installation got me back to where I need to be, and Rum now shows the appropriate "Split" mode.
Great yes I need to make the announcement today those having these issue are best off with a clean install
