Random artifacts on laptop monitor

This applies to the latest staging.20260805 image on kde and cosmic. Does not affect external hdmi monitor.

Run

 journalctl -b

on both the previous and new image so the logs can be compared

Just an update only seems to be effecting 7.1.6+ kernel (even vanilla)

negative 7.1.5 and 7.2 doesnt have the issue.
