I flatpak yep I have some fixes I made for flatpak so hoping they land soon
I have the same phenomena. Running "sudo flatpak update" from terminal works.

hello! a few days ago the problem disappeared. Now it happens to me with another RPM app that I installed from a downloaded package from its website.

With 'ensu' (from Ente). I was on version 0.1.17 and it was telling me to update to 0.1.17.1.fc44 or something like that. Anyway, I downloaded the latest package (version 0.1.19) from the ente site and was able to update it without any issues, and without needing to reinstall.
My only need now is to be able to reinstall my RPM apps that I had. I just tried uninstalling Flatseal (the uninstall button was showing up, even though it didn't show as installed, but it was in the overlay list) and now when I hit the button to install the RakuOS (RPM) version from the Software Center, it "installs" it. But the shortcut doesn't show up in the app list and, after restarting the system and going into the Software Center, the "Install" button shows up again, as if nothing had happened.

thank you 🫀 I just realized that I can't open any of the four RPM applications that show up as installed in the software center and appear in my app drawer. Maybe it's all about the same issue.
Running the command sudo rum list brings me some unknown gpg-pubkey and the name of the four "installed" RPM apps that I can't open.
After the recent updates, I managed to reinstall all my apps successfully, except for a few that don't open (even though they appear as installed). Trying to open Proton Authenticator in the terminal, it says:
proton-authenticator: error while loading shared libraries: libwebkit2gtk-4.1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Can I solve this myself, or should I wait for a fix? Thanks!

I downloaded it from the official Proton Authenticator site. The same error happened with Terax (a terminal I downloaded from github)
