After messing around with live systems with persistence (copy2ram/toram boot, to speed up older hardware) i got obsessed with the idea of the read-only base with fully split off user additions/changes.

The RakuOS hybrid immutable approach got me interested, but i definitely want the minimal image, for full freedom in setting up my DE.

Is a full fresh start, resetting the whole file system through bootc install reset working on RakuOS?

That way i can jump in without having to worry about leaving unused files after rebasing.

Currently we are working on a minimal image for just this use case

Yes, i've seen it on the roadmap.

I'd like to avoid reinstalling a second time once the minimal image is released.

Thats why im asking about factory resetting after rebasing, it's the kind of feature i'd expect from an immutable distro.
